Why Should You “Try” an Indoor Triathlon?

An indoor triathlon, like the two we are offering this January and March, are an amazing race opportunity for athletes of any level. Here are some reasons why you should “try” one out for yourself!

  1. They are very beginner friendly, especially for newer swimmers, because the swim is in a pool, the bike is on a spin bike, and the run is on a treadmill, so it’s all very safe and controlled

  2. They are cheaper and logistically simpler than a regular outdoor triathlon, and also don’t require to bring a bike to participate

  3. They allow athletes of all levels to feed their competitive juices during the colder winter months in Chicago, when an outdoor triathlon would be impossilbe, unless we’re skiing instead of swimming!

  4. They allow you to dip your toes into the sport without buying all of the equipment needed for an outdoor triathlon, like a wetsuit, bike, helmet, etc.!

  5. And they are simply a whole lot of fun!
