Come race with us or root on the team at the world’s largest triathlon! We will have over 30 GE athletes racing, so it’s going to be a whole lot of fun! Here is the Grit Endurance Race Day Supporter Guide:
Grit Endurance gear: If you or your family wants to represent in GE gear, t-shirts and hats can be ordered ahead of time here, and we will have them at the swim start tent: https://www.gritendurance.com/store
Swim & Run:
We will have a white tent up and a GE flag in the team section at the swim start (Balbo and the lakefront) from 5:30am until 9:45am
Athletes and spectators can use this as a central meeting spot prior to your swim wave
This location is also a great spot to see the run course at about the .5-mile mark
All friends and family are welcome!
Bike:
The bike is a bit challenging to spectate, but the most common spots to watch are the bridges above the busway at Jackson, Van Buren, Balbo or the 11th St. bridge
You can also catch your athlete coming in and out of transition on the north side of the transition area near Randolph
Finish:
We will have the Grit Endurance tent up near the finish line on Columbus, as a place to reunite with friends, family and other GE athletes
Coach Jim will be moving from the swim start/run tent to the finish area tent around 9:45am to 10:00am for the finish area celebrations!
All friends and family are welcome!
Supertri Pro Race:
The Supertri Pro Race, which is going to feature an action packed 3x Super Sprint format and will include many of the Olympians and medalists from the Paris games, will start 12:30 (women) and 1:45 (men). Don’t miss this opportunity to see the world’s best in action!
The start and central viewing location is Queen’s Landing (across Lakeshore Drive from Buckingham Fountain) and will feature a beer tent!
If you want to get a free event ticket ahead of time that can be used for a free water bottle, sign up here. Note this isn’t required to attend the pro race, which is free!
